Who Are We?
Flying High is a strategic partner of Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training , an Ofsted rated Outstanding provider delivering teacher training for Primary and Secondary across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire.
Inspiring Leaders set out to be a centre of excellence for initial teacher training and since it's start in 2014, has trained over 340 new teachers across the East Midlands and beyond.
The Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Primary Hub is lead by Flying High. We work with Trusts and schools across the region to provide a rich variety of placements and experiences to our trainees. We are led by the belief that every child deserves an outstanding education and this begins with outstanding teachers.
Our schools work together to always be at the forefront of best practice in education. The SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) route forms the first step in a career in that community.

Where are we based?
We strive to provide the highest quality training and development experiences for all our trainees in order to provide those outstanding, child-centred teachers and leaders of the future in our schools.
Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Primary Hub works as partnership of schools across the region:
- Flying High Trust - schools across Nottingham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Ashfield & Derbyshire
- Djanogly Learning Trust - schools in Nottingham City and Derbyshire
- Nottingham School Trust - Nottingham City
Schools across our partnerships provide quality experiences for our trainees through facilitation and hosting placements as well as recruitment events and school experience days for those looking to join the profession.
