Early Career Framework (ECF)

We support Early Career Teachers

We believe the first years of a teacher’s career are vitally important for professional development and the best time to develop good habits and effective teaching strategies. We are highly committed to ensuring that all new teachers receive the best possible support, opportunities and development during their induction period.  We deliver the Early Career Framework (ECF) across Nottingham, Nottinghamshire and the East Midlands, in partnership with Education Development Trust (EDT).

This two-year national statutory programme provides teachers with the essential specialist support they need to improve their practice and build confidence  in the first two years of their profession.  It arms them with skills they can use in the classroom straight away and offers the structured support needed to help them be the best teachers they can be.
